FORETOLD IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:

-  Jeremiah 31:31-34 – A New Heart

FULFILLED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:

- Luke 22:20 – Jesus inaugurates the new covenant.

- Hebrews 8:6-13 – Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant.

- 2 Corinthians 3:6 – The new covenant is written on our hearts.

APPLICATION FOR OUR LIVES TODAY:

- Live in the power of the new covenant – It’s not about rules or the letter of the law, but about a relationship with God through Jesus, the Spirit of the law.

- Allow the Holy Spirit to transform you – Our hearts are made new by God’s grace, we let go of our stony hearts for a new heart of flesh.

- Share the good news – This new covenant is available to all who will receive it, so we must help others know.
