The fifth statement that Jesus made from the cross is “I thirst.” (John 19:28-30). What does it mean for the Son of God to express His thirst? Jesus was letting us know that we have the choice to thirst for righteousness today or thirst for everything else forever. Jesus reveals His humanity and divinity. Will we thirst for righteousness?
